Originally, the game's main character Taven was the one who defeated Blaze, the excess energy from the firespawn's death having an unexpected effect on the kombatants present. This was the final battle for Mortal Kombat, the battle that determined the fate of the realms. This would be the warriors' last battle, their last chance to prove that they are worthy of surviving, while many others will perish. The firespawn was created by the Elder Gods to destroy as many fighters as possible in order to save the realms from Armageddon. The kombatants fought one another to get to the top, while Blaze revealed himself to them.
Without warning, a pyramid rises from the ground, and the tip bursts into flames, attracting the warriors' curiosity to see what it was. These warriors clashed in a single battle royale that threatened to rip apart reality and bring about the apocalypse. The warriors' powers threaten to utterly destroy the fabric of the MK universe.
Throughout the Mortal Kombat universe, the kombatants of the realms were growing too strong and numerous for the realms to handle. 3 Returning Characters with new designs.We’re not sure how we feel about Ronda Rousey being involved for Sonya, but it will come down to how it’s implemented. We love hearing that there will be entirely new characters along with new game modes and we hope the previous rumors of a co-op Adventure mode are true as well. While we can’t confirm these details, they certainly seem plausible which is why we’re sharing them with you. Lastly, this looks to be the potential (or current) box art: Early access to DLC characters is still a possibility.
